  • Absolutely a must try! If you haven’t been here, go. Worth the trip from well out of town - better than any food we got in Leavenworth.

  • We wanted to try out vegetarian food. Server was kind and suggested good options. Although the place is smaller, but looked like family run with fantastic food! Highly recommended!

  • Great mom and pop’s place. The sound of pupusas being made fresh filled the restaurant. We got a sandwich, 2 pupusas, a tamal de elote, and a tamal salvadoreño. Everything was delicious and filling. The tamal de elote is sooo good and literally reminded me of a fluffy bread (although it’s corn), it had the perfect amount of sweetness and salty from la crema. The Salvadoran tamal is a melt in your mouth tamal, and the house made hot sauce is the spiciest I’ve had moving to Washington. Prices were great. We will be sure to stop in whenever we are in town. I highly recommend this cute and cozy lowkey spot.

  • My friend Allana is a weekly visitor here. She loves it, so she brought me to try it. We started off our meals with some carrot and orange juice, the juice of the day. It was deliciously creamy and frothy. I felt the nutrients entering my body. It was the first warm and sunny day of the year, so we thoroughly enjoyed this refreshing juice. I ordered a beef burrito that came with rice and beans, as well as a chicken papusa and a pork papusa. I knew this would warrant my leftovers, as it’s a lot of food. The beans were exactly to my preference; creamy and savory beans that mix well with the rice. And rice was fluffy and seasoned with a unique blend of spices that you aren’t used to if you only frequent Mexican restaurants in town. The burrito had veggies, beef, some sauce. I’m sure there were other ingredients in it as well but I was too focused on eating it because it was so delicious. A red sauce ladled over the top of the burrito kept everything hot and moist. The papusas were delicious on their own, and remarkable when paired with the cabbage slaw, the sauce provided, and some spicy pepper sauce. It was my first papusa, so I cannot attest to wow it compared to others. But I do know it was delicious and I want to go back. The pork and chicken inside were also seasoned well with unique (to me) spices. The slaw was a great fresh pairing. The plantains had a nice char on them, enhancing the sweet flavor and providing a nice contrast. They were incredibly soft with a pudding-like texture. A dip in the beans and crema balanced the bite well. I am already excited to go back and order more. Maybe the birria and a different juice? I will keep this review updated. GO TRY IT!!!!

  • Excellent food from El Salvador! We ordered papusas, both tamales, platanos fritos, and several other dishes. All fantastic! Don't forget to order their aguas frescas. Great tamarindo, piña, and horchata! Very affordable prices. We will be back!

  • We ordered a bunch of tamales, papusas, and the sopa de camarón. Everything was flavorful and fresh and the portions were generous. We met Isabel, who welcomed us like we were guests in her own home. We would eat here every day if we could!

  • Food was great, very flavorful and well worth the money. My favorite was the fried plantains. You can get them in the savory or sweet version. The staff are very sweet and friendly. Try their fresh pressed orange carrot juice!

  • If you've never tried Salvadirian food, no better place to start than here! The food is fresh and hand made the traditional way. The staff is very friendly and gracious. Their homemade pupusas are Wash it all down with a nice cold horchta. My friends swear by their burritos as well. Give them a try and support small business! ???????? ????????
